West Coast Planning

This is a trip Keith and I have been planning in our heads for a long time!  Just the two of us this time.  I have always wanted to visit Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Keith has always wanted to do Yosemite.  After much too-ing and fro-ing we finally came up with a plan. With so many things to see we decided to try and cram as much as possible into a 3 week tour.  Not sure whether we are doing too much and too many stops but time will tell.

We are flying into Los Angeles and heading straight to Six Flags Magic Mountain for our first stop.  Then the longer drives commence with Grand Canyon, with an overnight stop at the Thunderbird Hotel, with hopefully views of the rim from our room!  On to Page, via Horseshoe Bend, for Antelope Canyons.  Monument Valley, Moab, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon and Zion NP before we get to Las Vegas, staying at the Vdara with views of the Bellagio Fountains.  A visit to Hoover Dam, then from LV through Death Valley to Yosemite for a 3 nights stay in a cabin in Yosemite West.  Final stop will be just outside San Francisco with a day trip into the city before we head home for SF.

Despite having printed approx 200 photos to put in an album, between 5 of us taking photos during the holiday we still had hundreds that were good but not acually printed.  So with the ones that almost made it or those that weren't quite so good but I felt they told a story that was part of holiday I set about doing some digital scrapbook pages. Luckily I had known that I would try and do this before we went away so whilst in Disney I bought three 8x8 inch Disney Albums.  It did take months planning and getting round to it, but eventually I got all the pages complete.
(Please note some of these pages may look odd as they were designed to fit into the album next to a corresponding page!)
