Time to give our bodies some time to recover from 2 full park days.
Stephen and I had a quick swim before we all headed out for breakfast at the local IHOP. Stephen had a breakfast burrito, Keith had breakfast crepes, Sarah had cinnamon cheesecake crepes and I had breakfast tacos. Not forgetting the hash brown snd pancakes sides that also filled the table. All washed down with either coffee, orange juice or choc milkshake!!
Back to the villa we let our breakfast settle for a while. Keith took Sarah and I to the shops where we planned to pursue Hobby Lobby and Michael's.
One look at the inside of Hobby Lobby, and particularly the huge aisles of Christmas stuff, and Keith retreated to the car!! We were restrained with just a couple of small purchases. In truth we could have spent a fortune but most of the stuff we wanted was either to big or too heavy to bring home. We didn't need anything, but wanted everything! We need a Hobby Lobby in the UK! Actually we probably don't, I'd be constantly broke! 🤣
We moved on to Michael's and Dollar Tree with a quick stop at a little bakers called Crumbl. Yep without the 'e'.
After a few more small purchases we headed back to the villa. Weather today was overcast with rain although still very warm.
We sat on the patio with a cuppa and some cake before Sarah and Stephen had aasunset swim.
We set off around half 6 for dinner. Tonight was Smokey Bones, one Keith and I had tried on a previous trip. A bbq grill place, their slogan says "we do meat" which says it all. We shared a starter of loaded fries then also shared a fire pit main meal with steak, wings, smoked sausage, chicken, ribs, wedges, peppers and onions. Washed down with lemonades and a rum cocktail for Sarah. Food was excellent!
Full we then headed to our favourite golf location, Congo River, for a laughter filled 18 holes of fun, which did see a couple of water/wayward shots, mostly from Sarah! Probably the rum! 😉
Back home just after 10pm, we chilled in front of the TV, but not for long, before heading to bed. Tomorrow we head to Busch Gardens for more coasters.
Steps today around 5,000.
How I would love to visit Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Dollar Tree. Maybe a trip to the US just for the shops is needed!
