Typhoon Lagoon and not quite so HOT!

Ok, back on schedule today.  Had breakfast at IHOP this morning - should have seen the pile of pancakes chloe and I had, she had Strawberry and I had blueberry.  Grandma had an over 55's stack of pancakes too!  Stew had a massive waffle, Sarah and Keith had smoked sausage and egg with pancakes and steve had kids pancakes, bacon and scrambled egg.  The waiter was brilliant showing us a trick with the little milk cartons, Stew got cross because after lots of trying Sarah got it first!

After breakfast we headed for Typhoon Lagoon, Mum and Dad got a bus to Downtown Disney had a walk round the shops and then got a bus to one of the resorts and then onwards to Hollystudios because they didn't really fancy the water park.

The rest of us headed into Typhoon Lagoon, got some lockers and towels, changed and covered ourselves in suncream and headed for the lazy river.  After a nice lazy trip right round the park we decided to do some slides.  Stewart and Keith did Humunger Kowabunger but the rest of us chickened out!  Storm Slides next but only for Me, Keith and Sarah.  We did however all ride on the Mayday Falls tube slides and the Kangplank Falls family raft rides.  Then it was back on the lazy river to top up suncream before heading for Crush and Gusher - bit of a cross between and waterslide and a coaster.
(have to admit had a bit of a barney at Keith after he tipped me out of the raft and I scuffed my knee on the bottom of the pool :(    )

The kids went to play in the main pool while Keith and I went to retrieve the cameras (we had been hoping the Disney Photopass people would be there but apparently only in peak season now, bummer, we had some nice photos last time we came and were hoping to get some more - oh well).  Keith and the kids jumped back on the lazy river and stew and I ran along the paths at the side take pics of them.  Then we re did some of the other rides before heading back to get changed.

We had arranged to meet Mum and Dad at Hollywood Studios at 5 o'clock.  Got there just in time and headed off to find somewhere to eat.

UPDATE (Now Friday Morning!)

We found a food and seating area just round the corner from the Fantasmic theatre.  Mum, Chloe, Sarah and Stephen had chicken nuggets and chips, Stewart had a Hot Deli Sandwich and Crisps and the rest of us had burger and chips.  By the time we had finished eating it was 6.15  so we walked round to the theatre entrance where everyone was already going in (even tho it doesn't start til 7.30).  Just as well we went early as the seating was full before 6.45! (Lynne - if you are doing this get there early!!!!).  Show was great lots of music, fireworks and characters.

We got back to the villa about 9 and just lounged around and relaxed before heading for bed.

Disaster! - now Keith is ill.  Think this must be a bug going round that we probably picked up on the plane!  Busch Gardens off today again! Going to stay in the villa this morning, luckily we bought some stuff for breakfast, then maybe head off to Magic Kingdom again this afternoon.

This is the life - relaxing by the pool.  Hope you are not all working too hard!  ;)
