This time our journey takes us from Toronto, across the US border at Buffalo, towards Cincinnati, back to Sandusky on the south side of Lake Erie to Cleveland, Niagara and back to Toronto - in 11 days!!
The Plan!
Day 1 - Flight - Air Canada, Heathrow to Toronto, pick up car, collect season passes at Canada's Wonderland then on to the city
Day 2 - CN Tower, tour of city then cross the border to the USA
Day 3 - Possible visit to Darien Lakes in the morning/early afternoon then a 4hr drive to Mansfield, Ohio for an overnight stop.
Day 4 - Kings Island - Amusement Park near Mason, Ohio, probably using fast passes
Day 5 - Drive to Sandusky for 3 night stay at Cedar Point (main reason for the trip!!), sooo many coasters - really looking forward to but very nervous of Top Thrill Dragster! If you've ridden Stealth at Thorpe Park - its similar but much bigger!! 3rd from the right in photo below.
Day 6 - Cedar Point, possible fast passes - depends on how busy it is
Day 7 - Cedar Point
Day 8 - Cleveland - Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Waldameer Amusement Park, then on to Niagara for 2 night stay
Day 9 - Niagara, boat trip, behind the falls tour, and maybe the new zip wire!
Day 10 - Day free - maybe shopping or visiting the surrounding areas - maybe lunch/dinner with family if that can be arranged! Overnight near Toronto
Day 11 - Canada's Wonderland - one last coaster blast! another fast pass day probably

Day 12 - flight home
Current mileage estimate is 1190 miles according to Google Maps - but that doesn't take in driving to restaurants, shops etc.
Mostly staying in hotels - Holiday Inn, Best Western, Comfort Inn. Staying onsite at Cedar Point in Breakers Hotel, and have a house booked for the 2 nights in Niagara.
Not sure whether we will have time to keep the blog updated each day as we have done in the past but will keep notes and update on return if not.
